Ingredients

  • For Beef Kofta Biryani

  • ½ kg Beef Mince
  • 2 Bread Slices (soft part)
  • 2 Lemons
  • 2 Onions (chopped)
  • 4 Black Peppers
  • 8 Green Chilies
  • 6 Green Cardamoms
  • 1 pinch Yellow Food Color
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Oil
  • 2 cups Rice
  • ½ cup Yogurt
  • 1 cup Mint Leaves
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Turmeric (powder)
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp Coriander (powder)
  • 1 tbsp Chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp Red Chilies
  • 1 tbsp Poppy Seeds
  • 1 tsp Ginger (paste)
  • 1 tsp Garlic (paste)

Directions

  • For Beef Kofta Biryani

  • Step 1:

    Start with grind beef mince with chickpeas, poppy seeds, cumin seeds and black peppers

  • Step 2:

    Next add bread slices without corners, 4 green chilies 1/2 cup mint leaves, salt and grind mince again

  • Step 3:

    Now make koftas with ground mince and shallow fry them and keep aside

  • Step 4:

    Take a pan and heat oil on medium flame then fry onions until they change color to golden brown then remove from pan and spread them on paper and crush them when they are dry

  • Step 5:

    Next take a pan and add yogurt, red chilies, coriander, turmeric powder, garlic paste, ginger paste, garam masala, and crushed onions then mix them and cook 1 to 2 minutes

  • Step 6:

    Now add fried koftas and leave it on dum for 10 minutes

  • Step 7:

    Take a pan and boil rice with cardamoms until they are 3/4 done then remove water from rice

  • Step 8:

    Now grease a pan and spread rice on its base then spread a layer of kofta masala then spread remaining green chilies and mint leaves

  • Step 9:

    Next spread another layer of rice and pour yellow food color mixed with milk then add lemon juice and finely spread fried koftas on it
