Ingredients

  • For Aalu Biryani

  • 350 g Rice (boiled)
  • ½ kg Potatoes
  • 250 g Yogurt
  • 250 g Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Mint Leaves
  • 1 tsp Ginger (paste)
  • 1 tsp Garlic (paste)
  • 2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 100 g Plums
  • 1 tsp Turmeric (powder)
  • 2 tsp Red Chilies
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Yellow Food Color
  • 4 Lemons
  • 2 tbsp Coriander
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1 cup Oil
  • 1 cup Onions (fryied)
  • 6 Green Chilies

Directions

  • For Aalu Biryani

  • Step 1:Lets start with take a pan and heat oil and add potatoes, yogurt, salt, turmeric powder, red chilies, garam masala, cumin seeds, plums, ginger paste, garlic paste, and little water

  • Step 2:Next cover it and cook until potatoes tender and water dry then add tomatoes, yellow food color, lemons, coriander leaves, mint leaves, fried onions and green chilies and cook for 3 - 4 minutes

  • Step 3:Next add boiled rice and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes then dish out and serve
